I havn't played for 10 years but whilst surfing the net or in my case swimming against the tide I came upon your site. In my day most drummers used 70% single sticking and 30% double sticking and it struck me that these days the opposite is true.

I am an absolute beginner on the drums, having decided at nearly 44 years old that I need a challenge outside of my work and I wanted to learn an instrument of some kind.
